To strengthen coordinated cooperation across the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain and establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism, Gao Zhi, Secretary General of the China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), led a delegation to the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) for discussions on the afternoon of July 27. The delegation was warmly received by Fang Qiuchen, President of CHINCA; Yao Danbo, Secretary General of CHINACA; Xu Guolei, Vice Secretary General and Director of the Exhibition Center; together with other relevant officials. Xu Yongmo, former President of CCPA, Wang Zhaojia, and Li Zhiling, Deputy Secretary General of CCPA, also attended the meeting.

During the discussion, Fang Qiuchen extended a warm welcome to the CCPA delegation and introduced CHINCA’s business portfolio, service system, and the overall development of China’s international contracting industry. He noted that closer collaboration between the two associations would effectively integrate upstream and downstream resources and help improve the overseas engineering supply chain. Fang highly endorsed CCPA’s proposal for cooperation and expressed CHINCA’s willingness to establish a regular cooperation mechanism to promote resource sharing across the industrial chain and encourage enterprises to expand overseas collectively. He added that such cooperation would strengthen the international competitiveness of China’s infrastructure industry chain and contribute to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Gao Zhi expressed her appreciation for CHINCA’s warm reception and continued support. She introduced CCPA’s organizational profile, core service functions, and the current development of China’s concrete and cement-based products industry. She pointed out that, as a fundamental supporting sector for infrastructure development, the industry enjoys broad overseas market prospects and significant potential for international cooperation. With its extensive overseas project portfolio and enterprise network, CHINCA serves as an important bridge for helping building materials enterprises enter international markets and expand their global presence. CCPA looks forward to establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism with CHINCA to promote complementary strengths among member enterprises, facilitate coordinated overseas expansion across the entire industrial chain, and achieve mutual benefit and shared development. Gao also sincerely invited CHINCA to support and attend the China International Concrete Expo and the concurrent industry conferences, which will be held in Guangzhou this September.
The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on a range of topics, including the establishment of a long-term strategic cooperation mechanism, the development of overseas service platforms, specialized training programs for enterprises expanding abroad, and deeper collaboration on major exhibition projects. They reached broad consensus on multiple areas of cooperation, laying a solid foundation for sustained collaboration and joint efforts to help industry enterprises explore overseas markets.
