Recently, China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited (CR Building Materials Technology) successfully launched an intelligent logistics dispatch and monitoring system at its Zhanjiang Industrial Park concrete batching plant.


Built as an upgraded version of the company’s existing BeiDou-based truck dispatch and monitoring platform, the new system integrates dedicated communication lines with 5G connectivity, intelligent production scheduling, and three dedicated WeChat Mini Programs designed for drivers, customers, and field technicians. By significantly improving communication among suppliers, carriers, and customers, the platform establishes an integrated digital service ecosystem. The complete solution has now reached the stage where it can be replicated on a large scale and is scheduled for rollout across CR Building Materials Technology’s operations in 2026.

Production Operations Center Dashboard


The platform delivers a range of powerful capabilities. By integrating ERP data with BeiDou positioning information, it eliminates data silos and enables seamless information sharing. Equipped with an intelligent scheduling engine and a centralized visual task dashboard, the PC platform provides real-time visibility into station orders, vehicle queues, and en-route deliveries, while supporting vehicle route playback and geofencing alerts.


On the mobile side, dedicated WeChat Mini Programs allow drivers to register for loading queues, navigate delivery routes, and report exceptions with a single click. Customers can track orders online and complete electronic proof of delivery, while field technicians are able to monitor concrete usage at construction sites in real time. Throughout the entire workflow, traditional paper documentation has been fully replaced by digital processes.


The project also addresses several longstanding industry challenges with remarkable effectiveness. It resolves fragmented monitoring systems across different batching plants, overcomes the limited flexibility of third-party software platforms, and strengthens supervision over outsourced concrete transportation fleets. At the same time, conventional manual scheduling methods, such as magnetic dispatch boards and WeChat group coordination, have been replaced by an intelligent digital workflow, reducing hardware investment while improving vehicle dispatch efficiency by 30%.
