News » Deepening Engagement with the ASEAN Market and Building Bridges for Cross-Border Cooperation

To further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the China’s and Vietnam’s concrete and cement-based products industries, support the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, and deepen integration into global industrial and supply chains, the China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA) organized a delegation of Chinese enterprises to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 25 to June 1, 2026. During the visit, the delegation participated in the Cement & Concrete Expo Vietnam and carried out a series of activities, including business matchmaking, industry roundtable discussions, and market research visits. By fully leveraging its role as a bridge between industries, CCPA facilitated practical cooperation and elevated China-Vietnam collaboration in the concrete and cement-based products sector to a new level.

Participating in Cement & Concrete Expo Vietnam

 

The Cement & Concrete Expo Vietnam 2026 was held on May 27–28 at the ADORA Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Li Zhiling, Deputy Secretary General of CCPA and Director of International Cooperation Center of CCPA, led the delegation to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address. In her speech, she introduced the vast potential and promising prospects for bilateral cooperation between China and Vietnam in technological innovation, advanced equipment, and industrial development within the concrete and cement-based products sector.


Distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony included Tong Van Nga, President of the Vietnam Association for Building Materials (VABM), and Tran Ba Viet, Vice President of the Vietnam Concrete Association (VCA), along with other industry representatives.

Under CCPA’s overall coordination, a number of leading Chinese enterprises participated in the exhibition, including: Qingdao Hicorp Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Sobute New Materials Co., Ltd., Guangdong Sanhe Pile Co., Ltd., Guangdong Redwall New Materials Co., Ltd., Guangxi Keda New Materials Group Co., Ltd., Qingdao DEX Machinery Group Limited, Hebei Zhaohuan Construction New Materials Co., Ltd.


The exhibitors showcased China’s latest achievements in advanced manufacturing equipment, innovative materials, cutting-edge technologies, and engineering applications for the concrete and cement-based products industry. Their comprehensive displays highlighted the technological strength and manufacturing capabilities of Chinese enterprises, making them one of the major attractions of the exhibition and drawing significant attention from both domestic and international visitors.

Throughout the exhibition, the CCPA booth served as an important platform for industry exchanges between China and Vietnam. Numerous Vietnamese experts and association leaders visited the booth for in-depth discussions, including Le Trung Thanh, Associate Professor and member of the National Assembly Committee of Vietnam for Science, Technology and Environment; Tong Van Nga, President of Vietnam Association For Building Materials (VABM); Thai Duy Sam, Vice President of VABM; Pham Van Bac, Vice President of VABM and former Director General of the Building Materials Department under Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction; and Tran Ba Viet, Vice President of Vietnam Concrete Association (VCA).

 

During these meetings, Li Zhiling, Deputy Secretary-General of CCPA, introduced the development history of CCPA and provided an overview of China’s concrete and cement-based products industry. She also extended a sincere invitation to Vietnamese industry colleagues to attend the China International Concrete Expo, scheduled to be held in Guangzhou from September 18 to 20, where they could further strengthen exchanges and explore cooperation opportunities.

During the exhibition, CCPA also organized dedicated business dialogue sessions between Chinese exhibitors and representatives from VABM, VCA, the Vietnam Pile Industry Association (VPIA), and leading Vietnamese enterprises. Participants held extensive discussions on industry development, technological upgrading, market demand, and future cooperation, laying a solid foundation for deeper practical collaboration.

Before and after the exhibition, CCPA actively coordinated visits to key industry stakeholders in Vietnam. The delegation visited industry associations, leading enterprises, benchmark manufacturing facilities, and industrial parks to gain a comprehensive understanding of Vietnam's industrial policies, market structure, manufacturing technologies, and future development plans, while identifying emerging market opportunities.

  


Visiting Vietnam’s Industry Associations

 

The delegation visited both VCA and VPIA, where extensive discussions focused on the development of the entire concrete industry value chain.

 

The delegation gained detailed insights into Vietnam’s industrial policies and regulations, medium and long-term development strategies, the current status of upstream and downstream sectors of the concrete and cement-based products industry, and future market trends. Discussions also covered product structure, demand for advanced technologies and equipment, market supply and demand, and other key issues. Both sides reached preliminary consensus on establishing regular industry exchanges, jointly promoting standards development, and expanding economic and trade cooperation.

Visiting Vietnam’s Concrete and Cement-based Products Enterprises

 

The delegation visited several leading local enterprises, including FiCO Pan-United Concrete Joint Stock Company, Xuan Mai Corporation, and Thu Duc-Long An Centrifugal Concrete Joint Stock Company. During these visits, delegation members toured production facilities to examine manufacturing equipment, production processes, operational management, and product applications.


The Chinese delegation also introduced the current development of China’s concrete and cement-based products industry, sharing information on mainstream products, advanced technologies, and manufacturing equipment while exploring potential areas for future cooperation with Vietnam’s enterprises.

Engaging with Successful China’s Enterprises Operating in Vietnam

 

The delegation visited Jianhua Construction Materials (Long An) Co., Ltd. and the Vietnam Office of Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd., where members gained first-hand knowledge of the localization strategies, investment experience, and operational practices of Chinese-invested enterprises in Vietnam.

 

Through these exchanges, the delegation systematically analyzed Vietnam’s construction market, project characteristics, industry environment, and business challenges, providing valuable practical experience for China’s enterprises planning to expand into the Vietnam’s market.
