Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute Co., Ltd. was formerly the Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute of the National Bureau of Building Materials Industry. It is now a direct subsidiary of Tianshan Materials Co., Ltd., under China National Building Material Group (CNBM).

The company is committed to the research and development of new technologies, new products, and new equipment in the fields of cement, concrete, aggregates, cement products, and chemical building materials. Apart from sponsoring the Chinese industry-core journal China Concrete and Cement Products, it is engaged in industrial and civil building design, plant building process, supporting equipment design, engineering repair, project general contracting, and constructing collaborative innovation systems that cover the entire industrial chain of basic building materials. The goal of the company is to form a complete chain covering “basic research, technological breakthroughs, research achievement incubation, and industrial transformation”, based on its profound scientific research accumulation and industry-leading capabilities.

Over the years, the company has undertaken and completed more than 600 projects, including the National Key R&D Program, National Key Technology Innovation Projects, Ministry of Science and Technology Social Welfare Special Fund Projects, Ministry of Science and Technology Research Institute Technology Development and Research Special Fund Projects, as well as provincial & ministerial scientific R&D projects. In total, the company has achieved over 140 scientific research achievements, more than 90 new product R&D projects that receive provincial or higher-level awards, and over 50 new technologies with national patents, making significant contributions to the development of China’s building materials industry.
