On the afternoon of September 5, as one of the sub-forums of the 2025 China Concrete and Cement-based Products Industry Conference, the 4th Forum on High-quality Development of the Concrete and Cement-based Products Industry under the Belt and Road Initiative was successfully held at the Canton Fair Convention Center in Guangzhou. With the theme “Pursuing Win-win Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative through Innovation, Green Growth and Globalization”, the forum was hosted by the China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), co-organized by the American Concrete Institute-Singapore Chapter (ACI-SC), the Vietnam Concrete Association (VCA), the Vietnam Concrete Pile Association, and Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Brazil, and organized by the CCPA International Cooperation Center. The event was strongly supported by Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd. and the CCPA Wind Power Hybrid Tower Branch. The forum aimed to foster an international, professional, and pragmatic cooperation ecosystem for the concrete and cement-based products industry, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the sector in Belt and Road countries.

Highlighting both international vision and industrial cohesion, the forum attracted experts and entrepreneurs from across the globe. More than 70 industry specialists and business leaders from Brazil, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, and other Belt and Road and emerging market countries shared insights on industry trends and practical experiences. On the domestic side, representatives from the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan contributed local technological innovations and investment cooperation opportunities. Nearly 200 participants engaged in cross-regional and cross-sectoral exchanges, building a precise dialogue platform that broadened both the scope and depth of cooperation for the industry under the Belt and Road initiative. The forum was moderated by Li Zhiling, Deputy Secretary-General of CCPA and Director of the CCPA International Cooperation Center.

To further support Chinese concrete and cement-based product enterprises in “going global,” the CCPA launched a program in 2020 to evaluate, release, and promote key products, equipment, and technical services for the Belt and Road market. CCPA recently completed the selection, evaluation, and release process for the 2025 program, finalizing a catalogue of 19 products, equipment, and technical services from 15 enterprises. At the forum, Zhang Yan, President of CCPA, officially presented association certificates to the participating enterprises included in the CCPA Recommended List of Key Products, Equipment and Technical Services for “the Belt and Road” (1th Batch in 2025), signaling official support for these achievements in expanding cooperation opportunities under the Belt and Road framework.

Meanwhile, CCPA continued to deepen cooperation with international industry associations. To strengthen exchanges and foster bilateral collaboration, Zhang Yan signed MoUs on Strategic Cooperation with the VCA and the ACI-SC, providing a solid foundation for future multidimensional and pragmatic cooperation.
